Glass Cleaning Pros Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 2025

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, using our AI estimation tools, or scheduling a service with Glass Cleaning Pros ("Company"), you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement.

  1. Estimates, Pricing, and AI Interactions

• Non-Binding Estimates: All quotes provided via our website, AI chatbots, SMS, or telephone are preliminary non-binding estimates. These estimates are generated based on the data provided by the Client and historical averages. • AI Limitations: The Client acknowledges that AI tools may occasionally generate inaccurate pricing due to "hallucinations" or incomplete data. The Company is not bound by erroneous quotes generated by automated systems that clearly deviate from standard market rates. • On-Site Verification: Final pricing is subject to on-site verification by our technicians. We reserve the right to adjust the price prior to commencing work if we discover conditions including, but not limited to: storm windows, French panes (True Divided Light), adhesive/paint residue, hard water stains, silicone overspray, or accessibility issues not disclosed during the estimation process. • Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse service if the site conditions are deemed unsafe or if the scope of work differs significantly from the description.

  1. Tempered Glass Waiver and Fabricating Debris

• Understanding the Risk: The Client acknowledges that tempered and heat-strengthened glass may contain microscopic manufacturing defects known as "fabricating debris" (glass fines). These defects are caused by the glass manufacturing process and are often invisible to the naked eye. • Mechanism of Damage: When standard window cleaning tools (including construction-grade scrapers and non-abrasive scrubbers) are used on glass with fabricating debris, the debris can be dislodged and dragged across the surface, causing scratches. This damage is a result of the defective glass, not the cleaning method. • Release of Liability: The Company employs professional, industry-standard methods. The Client agrees that the Company shall not be liable for any scratches, marring, or damage to glass surfaces that result from fabricating debris, defective glass manufacturing, or pre-existing scratches. The Client expressly waives any claims against the Company for damage related to the use of scrapers on tempered glass.

  1. Pre-Existing Conditions and Property Damage

• General Release: The Company is not responsible for damage due to pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to: oxidized frames, loose siding, rotting wood, compromised seals (foggy windows), or cracked tiles. • Screens and Plastics: The Client acknowledges that plastic screen tabs and clips become brittle with age and UV exposure. The Company is not liable for the breakage of brittle screen components or frames during the removal or installation process. • Leakage: The Company is not responsible for water intrusion through windows with failed seals or improper weatherproofing.

  1. Weather Policy and Rain Guarantee

• Service Continuity: We monitor weather closely. We continue to provide services in light to moderate rain, as rain does not inherently dirty windows; dirt and pollen residues do. • Rain Guarantee: If rain affects the quality of the exterior window cleaning within [specify hours] hours of service, the Company will re-clean the affected exposed glass at no charge. The Client must notify the Company within this time frame to redeem the guarantee. This guarantee applies to exposed glass only and does not cover sills or screens. • Cancellation: Cancellations due to weather are at the sole discretion of the Company. If the Company deems conditions safe and workable, the standard cancellation policy applies.

  1. Scheduling and Cancellation Fees

• Notice Requirement: We require at least [24/48] hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. • Fees: Cancellations made less than [24/48] hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee of [$XX or 50% of the estimate]. If our crew arrives and cannot access the property, a "Lockout Fee" of [100% of the estimate] will apply.

  1. Payment and Collection

• Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept [List Payment Methods]. • Late Fees: Invoices unpaid after [specify days] days will accrue interest at a rate of [1.5%] per month or the maximum rate permitted by law. The Client agrees to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney's fees.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of [specify state]. • Arbitration: Any dispute arising from these Terms or the services provided shall be resolved through binding arbitration in [specify location], and the Client waives the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
